Mystery Mike Hennessey left a cushy job in the stock market in Boston over ten years ago to heed the call- of children's laughter. Making children's faces light up has always been in Mystery Mike’s blood, and now it's his livelihood.

Hennessey is the creator of "MYSTERIES BY MIKE," one of Southern California's most popular party services. "MYSTERIES" offers unique, hysterical, interactive, and educational mystery parties for children of all ages who are invariably delighted by the antics of Detective Mumbo Jumbo Columbo and his wacky sidekick, Madame Scooby Dooby Doobwa (both licensed creations of Mystery Mike‘s). His burgeoning clientele include the sons and daughters of the most prominent in Hollywood including, Michele Pfeiffer and David E. Kelley, Chuck Fries, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Diedre Hall, Dee Wallace and more.

In addition to "MYSTERIES BY MIKE," Hennessey's company offers a number of other unique, wacky, multicultural, interactive and educational shows, including "KOOKIE CLUBHOUSE KINGDOM." It was back in December of 1995 that Mike took on the role of creator, producer, director, songwriter and playwright with the debut of "KOOKIE CLUBHOUSE KINGDOM," an "Interactive Dinner Theater for Kids." Featuring an enchanted Kingdom with animal characters from all over the world. The run of this Interactive Dinner Theater lasted almost 12 weeks, and received amazing responses from children and parents everywhere.

In May, 1997, Hennessey signed a 'non-exclusive' contract to write episodes for the Saban Entertainment show, "POWER RANGERS." Since then he's created several children's TV shows of his own, including "MIKE‘S MYSTERY TRAIN" "PETALOOMA PLANTATION," "ULTIMATE TEEN MURDER MYSTERY," "MUMBO & THE MADAME" "MAD MIKE'S MESSY MAYHEM" and "DINODOGS." The latter series, "DINODOGS," generated much heat; MatteI Toys expressed interest in merchandising for the show.

If anyone can bring a fresh perspective to the face of children's television, it's Mystery Mike Hennessey, who has worked with children since the age of 12, thanks to his mom, Ellen Sue, a neighborhood nanny.

During college, where he initially planned on becoming a missionary to work with children in India, Mike helped run a Sunday School for about 3,500 kids in Berkshire, MA. It was then that his fertile imagination began churning out dozens of games to help keep the kids excited and intrigued about learning. Mystery Mike also took on the crucial role of substitute teaching around the same time, affording him an opportunity to learn first-hand what peaks a child's interest.

Mystery Mike left college early and began to pursue his career in the stock market. However, he continued to develop games and create wacky worlds for kids, two of which were considered by all the major game companies at the time. Shortly thereafter, Mystery Mike wrote his first children’s book, "THE MESSENGERS," which captured the attention of Hollywood and the United States Postal Service! It was then he decided to take a chance on fate and move to Los Angeles.

Immediately upon arriving in L.A., Hennessey started doing what he does best - entertaining children. He became an instant hit at children's parties around the Southland playing Aladdin (over 200 times!), Prince Charming, Barney, etc. Soon after he was asked to run the party company that had hired him, which he did very successfully for almost two years before creating his own "MYSTERIES BY MIKE." Since then, Mystery Mike has continued to perform on a monthly basis from Los Angeles to Palm Springs to San Diego to Henderson NV (where he ran a summer camp for a week) entertaining thousands of kids, from ages 6 months to 16 years old, with his hysterical, wacky goofiness. He has truly become the Pied Piper for the Millennium.

Mystery Mike was also the head "Munchkin" Camp Counselor (ages 3 to 6) for a wonderful summer at Pali Camp some years back and was asked to take on the role full time.

One of Mystery Mike’s favorite highlights of his writing career was a few years back when he was asked by "Lucas Learning" to help put together an educational CD-ROM for ages 3 -6. He spent some time at Skywalker ranch developing and creating with a few other children writers from California.

Currently, Mystery Mike has completed "The Cleeko In The Mirror", performs weekly in live action shows," and volunteers his time to worthwhile causes.
